I would like to know something about prices. Your website is in Chinese only. Maybe you could indicate the costs and what Operating System can be installed on the machine.

We have been running debian for almost a year, right now the thin client runs firefox, mplayer and a simple "program selector" based on gtk.

On mini-PC, Fulong, we can have openoffice/eio office options, but I don't think it's mature to pre-install the office, I am thinking using pdf output would be much more simpler.

I have been using Fulong since January this year. It's rather stable, but using openoffice/eio office, it's a bit slow.

WinCE is on the way, and as far as I know, we have assisted some partner in booting a VxWorks system.

Hello Everyone,

I have been approached to set up a company in Hong Kong to produce a localized version of TinyERP that would target the manufacturing base in Guangdong, most of which is owned by Hong Kong based firms.

The version would be localized in the following written forms:

- Hong Kong Traditional Chinese Hanzi
- Mainland China Simplified Hanzi

I am still studying whether or not TinyERP is a viable product in terms of supporting the business model employed by most Hong Kong firms, which is to have the order-taking and customer service component running in Hong Kong and the manufacturing being performed either by wholly-owned subsidiaries in Mainland China or by contract sub-manufacturers in Mainland China.

What I'd like to know more about is TinyERP's ability to support TRADING companies as well as MANUFACTURING companies in Chinese.

The intention is to try to install and run the Linux version of TinyERP on the server (unless there is some compelling reason to use the Windows version) and the Windows version of the client.

I am still in the feasibility stage. I welcome any tips, advice or leads for potential business. Our reach for support is the following Chinese cities:

- Hong Kong (office already established)
- Dongguan (office already established)
- Guangzhao (office to be established)
- Shanghai (office already established)
- Beijing (office to be established)

Thank you,

Mister Li

We're working on developing custom modules and implementing Openerp in our factory located in Zhongshan.
