I have just installed Open ERP 5.0.6, on two different computers, 1 Windows 7 (English OS) all works fine. I installed on a students computer Vista basic (chinese simplified OS). the initial 'install' provides English/french option to install, however once installed all menus by default are in Chinese. You then can't create a new database - you get an error message. OpenERP server is ruuning. Is this some sort of language issue here (it is trying to create an English database on a chinese OS), or has the install software just not worked correctly? Any help greatly appreciated.

Installed OpenERP 6.0.2 All-In-One on Windows 7 (English OS), I got a problem to try creating a new database. If run OpenERP Client, go to File->Database->New database and completed the form of Create 1 new database, then click OK, I always get error message: "Error during creating database! Could not create database."
Did anyone have this experience to result this problem? Thanks!

A new database can be created if I use the system default password of the super administrator.
