SUGAR vs Tiny CRM

What is is advantage by using Sugar with Tiny ? Is tiny not as powerfull as Sugar regarding CRM ? I know that there is no calendar in Tiny for example but what else ?

Hello,

The main reasons are that the following are missing in Tiny ERP:
* calendar
* outlook plugin
* email

The first two will be released shortly. (<4 weeks)

Of course, in the advantages, there is much more things in Tiny ERP and everything is free.

You said the address book and calendar will be livery in 4 weeks, this will be similar to Essential PIM or order software.

email is not implemented

Calendar is in latest eTiyn releases (missing views for some objects)
Outlook plugin has been made by Axelor, they should publish soon (Thunderbird too)

Don't you thing that adding a "Sales Funnel" functionality + (Graphic) statistics of prospection results could be a great asset for OpenERP?

We may find some simple exemples in the free Zoho'CRM (http://crm.zoho.com/crm/login.sas)

Just to inform you all, that OpenERP 6 is under development and ready to compit the Sugar CRM with lots of new features.

Outlook Plugins
Calender
Meeting, Phone calls, Leads, Opportunities, etc..

also reporting is also improved.
