Hi!

I translated the openerp windows client .po file (/openerp/po/hu.po) to my language, but the translation doesn't appear in my client?
How can make it to appear?

in hu.po, have you just change msgstr and not msgid too, if the two, it's not good.
after user->preferences, choose your language hungarian I suppose, reload view one time.
see the branch tranlation for openerp too to give or fing translation.

I have changed just the msgstr of course. After reload the view and set the language my translation not appears. Help?

hungarian is available in official version for info

Thx but i think you are on wrong way. I can translate modules to openerp modules its not my problem. I can import this translations too. Its in openerp-server. But i cant import translations into openerp standalone client (windows). My question is related to client!!

thyx for the hel i solved the things with windows client:

The steps

- translate .po
- in terminal (linux) msgfmt your.po
- copy the generated .mo to share/locale/LC_MESSAGES and rename like the existing .mo in that folder

I have try it but it doesn't translate all menu : File, User, Options...

How to translate them
