I am curious if anyone in the community has utilized OpenERP to manage their Marketing Resources. This would be similar to the approach to Marketing Resource Management utilized by industry leaders such as Aprimo, Unica's Plan, and other such as AssetLink.

All the components seem to be present.

I recently worked with a company that had several hundred marketing managers utilizing their system handling over 55000 invoices a year.

With the strong financial underpinnings of OpenERP it would seem to be a natural fit.

Is this another win for OpenERP and OpenObject?

Let me know your thoughts and experiences.

Thanks.

Hi,
I am also interested in endeavoring to use OpenERP as a Marketing Resource Management System. However, I haven't seen a creative review/approval feature or plugin for OpenERP.

Have you seen such a component that can be used to review/markup and approve creative content for marketing campaigns in the OpenERP Stable?

Kind regards,
Damien

Their is the dm module that is available although at the moment it is undocumented. There are some review capabilities built in there.

Marketing Operations is also in the system although it doesn't seem to work in its entirety.

My hope is that the system with our efforts and others will continue to expand and be able to rival some of the specialist system like that of Aprimo, Unica, and Assetlink.

An efficient way to select partners and have them filtered to be part of a list would be important. Along with being able to segment the lists into control groups and deciles as well.
