Hi,
I forgot to de end year treatment and the system has closed automatically the 2009 fiscal year without giving me a chance to do the end year treatment process. Now i created the new year but i want to report my account balances on it ?
How could i re-open closed fiscal year ?
Thank you !

Without running year end process wizard how your fiscal year got closed?
If you didn't run close fiscal year wizard you can change things in previous fiscal year.

Haven't you got a backup of the database from before the accidental closure?

There is no such functionality to close fiscal year automatically.
even at the time of closing year it will prompt for confirmation that whether you want to close or not?
did you installed any customized modules?

Although the functionality to 'un-close' a financial period may not exist in the openerp modules, can't this be achieved through manipulating the postgres tables directly? *However*, such an approach is potentially risky and can cause data integrity issues, so always take backups first and if you're unsure, engage an openerp consultant.
