In my line of business I have customers that request quotes of several items, and they've already assigned a line item number for each of the items requested. This number is tracked throughout the sale to the point that when I invoice them, I still need to use the same corresponding line item number, even is it's a partial invoice. For example, if I've delivered items Nº 90, 120 and 121 of the sales order, my invoice needs to have the same numbers, even though there are only 3 items listed.
Any help or guidance is dearly appreciated.
I have read some posts mentioning that with the use of the OO Plugin, in format menu you can Add the bullet numbering, creating a sequence. Is it possible to track this sequence when creating a partial invoice?
