Hi,

I am trying to figure out a way to convert Purchase Unit of Measure to Default unit of measure.

For example if I buy something from a vendor (product X) and I buy it in a case, but my Base Unit is PCE, and 1CS =100PCE, I need open ERP to convert 1cs to 100pce on receiving. So that when I check my inventory I see I have 100pce or 80pce after the manufacturer process.

I found this posting (see below) and I am trying to do the same this, but it doesnt look like anyone know how to acompolidh what we are tryin to do.

Is openERP able to do this?

If not, how can this be accomplished, can I write a new module or do new fields need to be built into the product table?
Most ERP software can do this (for example Adempiere, OpenBravo ect..) But those ERP systems are not very user friendly, like OpenERP is. But I think it is something every that an ERP system need!

Thanks in advance.

Trip
