Hi everybody,
I am a newbie with openerp and trying to do the following in our cemichal manufacturating company:
The BOM of our products has the gerenic chemical names of the raw materials, but our providers has their own commercial names for this products, so our purchasing departments is asking me if it is posible that when we ask for quotes to them we send their commercial name instead of the generic
Thanks
Manuel

Yes it is possible. From memory when you add a supplier to a product, there is an option for Supplier Product description.

Right ! In the product form, supplier tab, you've got one field for the product's supplier name and another for the supplier code ! these information are taken in account when you make a purchase order !
