Really no interested soul to give me a hint?
I had only filsys telling me to modify the GTK client, but I do not compile the client from source. I think need server side.
The MRP is VERY important. I need seconds in that field.
Or somebody needs to be paid for this? Com' on guys. I've given back to this community as much as I learned.
Thanks a lot. Mihai

I talked to some pretty onto it manufacturing people about this, as they were facing the same issue. They referred me to APICS manuals. I only got 30 minutes or so with the manual so I could have it wrong but
In terms of best practice the answer seems not to change UoM to seconds, but to increase the decimal precision of hours.
Honestly I've never been a great fan of these rigid prescribed approaches, but it would seem if you are serious about manufacturing, then following industry best practice is probably better than just doing what you feel like. Often these systems need to interoperate with other ones.

Hi,
I'm glad that is not only my issue. I, indeed, do not want to measure in seconds but I want that field to be 00:00:00 instead of 00:00. So that means really to increase decimal precision.
I would be super happy if I would have that.
I did manage to change the database field definition to match this precision but then the program would not compute anything related to time, so it seems that I need help from someone that knows the whole part of the program.
So my request is in fact what you just said. increase decimal precision of hours.
Thanks!
