Hello, in an openerp forum i've read that you were able to install and run openerp server on a mac os, could you tell me please where did you write the patch in the sql_db.py file? I'm doing well far now, nevertheless I'm stuck in here. Thanks in advance.
Regards.

Jorge.

Hi!!

Is there any place where we could report some problems on MAC OS client for openerp?

These are the problems detected by now:

.- We can't write accents on it. Words like "aquí" or "López" are not allowed since client writes aqu'i and L'opez.
.- Each time we open an object containing a graph view we obtain this error, but closing the error screen the form view is correctly shown.

Last revision No. & ID :Bazaar Package not Found !Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/Applications/Open ERP.app/Contents/Resources/widget/view/graph_gtk/parser.py", line 57, in parse
File "/Applications/Open ERP.app/Contents/Resources/widget/view/graph_gtk/graph.py", line 49, in <module>
File "/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.5/lib/python2.5/site-packages/matplotlib/figure.py", line 18, in <module>
File "/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.5/lib/python2.5/site-packages/matplotlib/axes.py", line 17, in <module>
File "/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.5/lib/python2.5/site-packages/matplotlib/dates.py", line 104, in <module>
ImportError: No module named dateutil.rrule

.- Additionally each time we open an openoffice we obtain another error. Sorry I can't post because I didn't copy and I haven't got a mac here to reproduce. But we accept the error and pdf is shown correctly.

.- At last, there is a problem with date fields. Spanish language default date format is
dd/mm/yyyy
Even if user language is spanish, date are shown as mm/dd/yyyy so it's causing errors when user introduces date by hand and not using widget. Example: planned date 03/10/2010, I have set 10/03/2010 that is totally incorrect.

Thank you very much.

Ana
