Nope, not yet, but check the recurring invoicing module from launchpad time to time, looks promising to me but needs some more documentation i.m.o.

Goodluck and let me know when you succeed first

You can use the subscription module.

This seems to be a recurring question with no documentation. There also seems to be a recurring invoices module in the making but why duplicate functionality if it already exists.

Let's try to find out how this works. Here's what I got.

1. Active the subscription module.
2. In Tools > Subscriptions > Configuration > Document Types > New : As Object select account.invoice (Invoice) and give it a name, ie "Recurring invoice". After you "save parent" you can select fields from the invoice but I'm not sure how this interacts with the rest.
3. In Tools > Subscriptions > All Subscriptions > New : You can now select the "Recurring Invoice" document. If you click the select button on the right of the Source Document line you can select invoices. Maybe you should first create a pro-forma invoice?
Then I've entered a value for "Number of Documents" and "Interval Qty", saved the subscription and then clicked Start in the "Cron Job" part.
The result is a running subscription but no invoice was created and I'm not sure when the following will be created.

Please share your insights and maybe we can engineer a working solution.

Here http://www.openobject.com/forum/post31382.html#31382 is another recipe that almost works for me.

You should activate the sales module and it should be possible to generate invoices from sales orders. I've been playing with it and I succeeded in having one invoice created but the products are missing.

If you follow the steps described in the other forum thread this will result in the creation of more sales order instead of invoices.

There is a recurring invoice module called account_invoicing (http://kndati.lv). It's powerful than subscriptions and it's very customizable.
Like it's author said "It is very powerful - at the same time a little bit complex, but this is the price paid for it's capabilities"

This module is separated in three basic objects: methodology, service and agreement. You can see a use case here

In the agreement definition you can prolong the validity period as long as you want: unlimited term, fixed term, prolongation period (how many times the agreement will be prolongated), etc.

If you need some help, just send me a pm.

Bye

I've seen that site mentioned a couple of times but the site itself isn't very usable which makes me wary of what the module will look like.

When I visit this page:
http://kndati.lv/index.php/en/openerp/o ... -invoicing it doesn't propose to download the add-on.

There is a downloads link in the menu but when clicking that and selecting OpenERP 5.0 I'm on the "Links" page (not downloads) and there is no mention of "recurring invoicing".

Should I download "Invoicing main module" and does this replace the standard invoicing module?

Right there, in the OpenERP 5.0 page.

The main module is account_invoicing. You don't need any other module to get this working, but account_invoicing_template is very recomended if you have several employees who may create agreements.

You can see the full module description
here

I hope this helps.

Bye

Edit: On dowload page you'll have to get this modules
Invoicing main module (Open ERP 5.0)
Invoicing - Error Checking module (Open ERP 5.0)
Invoicing - Templating module (Open ERP 5.0)
Invoicing - Create Invoice Wizard module (Tiny ERP 5.0)

Really, i don't know why the author called it invoicing insted of "recurring invoice" or "agreements invoice", cause it's very confusing.
