Hi *,

as far as i know, Olap modules just work on an old version of the web-client (based on the code of 5.0.0 version).

Is anybody working on the porting of BI to the new web client (the one without TG)?

At the moment, we have to consider B.I. as a BROKEN feature.
It should be nice to have it working again for the next 5.2 release.

Which is the 'next release of new web client'? The one that comes on Monday with Open ERP 5.0.7 or the one in May that may be 5.2 or 6.0? Or something else?

Thanks.

Hello.
take the new bi web client branch from launchpad:
lp:~openerp-dev/openobject-client-web/trunk-dev-web-bi

after getting the branch do:
/widget_olap/__terp__.py
change active:False to active:True

Thanks.

When will come the business intelligence integrated into the server like as other modules?

OpenERP seems a good bet, but when it comes to market it, if I had built would be a great asset to convince the customer

because it is very powerful, I really like, but I have a hard time installing it

thankss

it's a "tunning" client BI, i think that patch the normal client and configure sampledatas.

in windows, i know that will do the similar way.

tunning means something like refine the program settings to optimize performance.

The business intelligence customer uses versions of libraries (as turbogears, etc..) That are very old. In my official installation seemed like a hell.

So I put a post on the forum, and they answered me with that link. Is a person who has bothered to "adapt" the customer business intelligence and make us easier when installation.

In windows, execute "cmd" and will open a terminal.

regardss
