Dear All,
I have been using MPS recently, and it is driving me crazy :D.
i have two products A & B.
for A:
- contains B in its BOM.
- procure method: make to stock.
- supply method: produce.
- has min stock rule defined.

for B:
- procure method: make to stock.
- supply method: buy.
- has min stock rule defined.
- has supplier defined.

then i create sales forcast for product A for defined period. And used MPS for this period for this product.
when i am done with 'procure delta in', product's A virtual stock is increased by 'delta in' value and an entry is added in order procurements list but its status is 'Exception'.
i ran 'compute all schedulers' but no nothing is changed.

i excpect it to create production order for A and purchase order for B, but that never happened.

Any help is ultimately appretiated.

thanks guys.

finally i have found a way out, i don't know if it is the direct way or not.
in any way here is my solution.

-for product A:
-change its procurement location(under procurement and locations tab) to 'Stock'.

-create new location(from Stock management >> Configuration) and name it ,say, MPS location
-set location type: internal location.
-set parent location: Stock.

-create new warehouse(from Stock management >> Configuration) and name it ,say, MPS warehouse
-set Location input: MPS location.
-the rest of locations set them to any as they are not used in this configuration.

-when creating new MPS(from Stock management >> procurement forecast)
-set warehouse to:MPS warehouse
-set product to:A

-after validating MPS and running MRP wizard(compute all schedulers)
-if enough quantities exist in Stock, no extra procurement is needed and MPS procurement will be set to done with latest error:'from stock: products assigned.'
-if not enough quantities exist in Stock, new procurements will be created according to min stock rule defined for this product.

-after done with all created procurements, you have to go to the created movement for product A (from 'Stock' to 'MPS Location') and press 'make parcel'. Now you can see products transfered to New Location 'MPS location'.

-to view the whole quantities of your product go to Stock Management >> stock location structure and select 'Stock' to get all products in stock (including products under 'MPS Location' as its parent location is 'Stock').
