Hi All,
Original Task : Receive Raw materials from Suppliers and make a Quality check. If the Product is lacking in quality then it is sent back to the supplier for replacement. Later after receiving the new product(Raw Material) start production.
My Approach : I have created a Chained location (name: Quality), and receive the raw material from the suppliers in to this location. After verifying the quality some products are sent back to the Supplier location(Quality lacking Products) for replacement. After receiving the new products the production is started.
Issue I face : After conforming the PO i get two picking entries, 1. Incoming Products to quality location 2. Internal move from quality to stock location If any raw material is sent back to the supplier location from quality location no change is made in internal moves(from quality to stock) Is there any option to make a reflection to the internal move too(Quality to Stock).
Note:
Chained Location Parameters, Location Type : Internal Location Chained Location Type : Fixed Location chained Location If Fixed : stock Automatic Move : "I tried will all the 3 options" chained Delay (day) : 0

i am wondering who did you make the move from quality to supplier location, using created module or manual moves. for my own i have almost done the same, but the move form quality to stock is manual move. so products got released user has to specify the quantity to move, by default the whole quantity is specified, and the rest will stay at Quality. there is a good feature in incoming products, you can return packing. also you can specify the quantity to return
