Hi, Can someone please explain the difference between a consumable and stockable product? Both of them require stock to sell and go through the same procurement workflow. I found this but I'm not sure what it means, https://bugs.launchpad.net/openobject-a ... bug/855687 . ""when you need consumables from the stock, it considers you always have enough items available""

Thanks

actually consumables don't need stock, it is assumed they are always available.

Thanks. So basically if i want to sell a consumable I have to set its procurement method as "Make to stock" otherwise there will be a PO or a MO created on every sale.

Yes they should be, but honestly I didn't think it mattered. Hmmm hopefully you are right might solve an issue we have.
