Hello,
My company is performing a feasibility to see whether or not we can launch a new line of business based on fully localizing and supporting TinyERP in the Chinese market.
We have a staff of programmers capable of extending/fixing the source code of TinyERP, though we would probably limit our activities to the interface language in the beginning and leave the major bug fixing to the experts in Belgium. New modules are a possibility. Our IT department numbers some 30 individuals across our three sites.
We have extensive Data Center infrastructure in Hong Kong, with multiple redundant links to the World Internet. We have a dedicated Fiber Optic link into the Chinese Internet.
We are capable of hosting dedicated servers (or virtualized servers). Hosting dozens of machines would not be a problem for us on a technical level as we have several technicians capable of supporting both Linux and Windows.
BUT - we do not have a pricing model yet, nor a feel for the appetite the market may have for this offering. I have started talking with TinyERP in Belgium regarding our supporting Greater China formally as a Partner.
If anyone is interested in us hosting their TinyERP implementation, please contact me so that we can begin to discuss the various Service Level Agreement (SLA) levels that you may want (7/24 support, 6/12 support, 5/9 support, etc) as well as what you might be prepared to pay for such hosting and support.
I can be reached at info *at* different-software *dot* com

Thank you,
Mister Li
